It was June 2018, a month I will always remember. I was in my kitchen complaining as I use to always do to my husband about how bad things were going in my business. Now, he is always a good listener but when you complain about the same thing more than once, you become a broken record, and well I am sure he got tired of listening to me. Besides that I was always such a negative person until I remembered what a good friend told me: watch this documentary called The Secret.
Now stay with me here and hear me out as I know what you may be thinking “O this girl has read that book, and she is going to go off on one of these kicks that if you think positive you can have it all.” Well thanks to some books listed below; I thank you for your thoughts, and I am not going to take it personal.
Everyone can have their own thoughts and opinions, but this documentary truly helped me realize something: how negative of a person I truly was to my husband, my girls, and well everyone in my life. This documentary started me on my self-development.
First it was the documentary, then I started listening and watching to YouTube videos of Tony Robbins which led me to Jim Kwik as I call him the brain guy, who kept saying “Leaders are readers” and to read so many books in a year.
So I started reading books, watching YouTube, and listening to Podcasts that have truly helped me come to a better understanding of self-development, personal growth, and the right mindset of running my business and my life.
If you want to run a business as a work from home mom, you have to have the right mindset, none of this “I am not deserving enough,” “I am not worthy enough,” or “I am not enough.”
It’s time for you to start reading some books to get you in the right mindset of growing, or better yet starting your business.
I will be listing books I have read and will keep adding as I keep reading, but I will also add books that I haven’t read and heard many motivational speakers express to read. These books are on my “need to read” list.
Let’s get to this list!
